Angola: Parliament speaker set to visit Italy
Rome - Angolan National Assembly Speaker Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos will visit Italy on 27 and 28 April at the invitation by his host counterpart, Laura Boldrini.

Fernando Dias dos Santos will meet in Roma with the Speakers of Italian Chamber of Deputies, Laura Boldrini and the Senate, Pietro Grasso.
The meeting will allow the Angolan Parliament leader to learn of the functioning of the two chambers - the deputies and Senate of the Republic.
During his stay in the European country, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos will sign a cooperation protocol with Laura Boldrini.
The cooperation protocol will help strengthen ties between the legislative bodies and expand bilateral ties in the political, economic, technical, cultural and social sectors.
The Speaker's visiting agenda also includes a working meeting with Pier Ferdinando Casini, Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Emigration.
