The information was released by the institution’s spokeswoman, Júlia Ferreira, at the end of a plenary chaired by the CNE's president, André da Silva Neto.
The meeting discussed, among others matters, the National Electoral Commission's opinion and the report on monitoring of Electoral registration process.
The plenary also considered the case of the citizen Ernesto João Manuel, who, according to the Territorial Administration Ministry (MAT), conducted double registration under the opposition UNITA 's guidance in an attempt to test the electoral registration system in progress.
However, the CNE plenary decided to conduct an investigation into the matter and determine all liability, as the subject has political implications.
