Ruling party presidential candidate in Cuanza Norte

Lucala - The candidate of the ruling MPLA party for the president of Republic, João Gonçalves Lourenço, Friday afternoon arrived in municipality of Lucala, 36 kilometres from Ndalatando city (capital of Cuanza Norte province), the first step of his two-day visit to the province.

MPLA candidate for president of republic, João Lourenço

On his arrival in Lucala, João Lourenço was welcomed by the militants, sympathisers and party's friends who were waiting for him at party's local committee facility for inauguration.

Angop learnt that João Lourenço's visiting programme include visit Friday to High Agrarian Institute of Cuanza Norte, followed by audiences to the religious, traditional authorities, as well as representatives of the Provincial Youth Council, Business class, among others.

On Saturday, the candidate of MPLA will donate various goods to traditional authorities, former combatants, disabled people and young students.

João Lourenço wil also address a massive political event on Saturday.
