Ruling party presents government programme to militants
Luanda - The Luanda provincial committee of the ruling MPLA party is this week presenting to its militants its Government Programme and Electoral Manifesto, with a view to the forthcoming election of 23 August.

The ruling MPLA party flag
According to the programme that reached the press, the ruling party is opening the presentation of its governing document on Tuesday, starting from the municipalities of Luanda, Cacuaco, Kilamba Kiaxi, Cazenga and Talatona, followed by Viana, Belas, Quiçama and Icolo e Bengo on Wednesday.
The urban districts of Ngola Kiluange, Estalagem, Palanca, Neves Bendinha, Golfe, Rangel, Samba, Maianga, Ingombotas and Sambizanga, will receive the documents on Thursday.
According to the programme, presentation lectures will be held simultaneously in the urban districts of Cazenga, Cacuaco, Viana and Kilamba Kiaxi.
The operation will continue on Friday in the urban districts of the municipalities of Belas, Talatona and Icolo e Bengo, before closing on Saturday in the localities of Icolo e Bengo, Quiçama, Belas, Viana and Cacuaco.
The two documents were presented to the public on 10 May 2017, during a ceremony chaired by the ruling MPLA party vice president and presidential candidate, João Lourenço, in the presence of the organisation’s Politburo, central and provincial committees members and guests.
