Angola and China strengthen military cooperation
Luanda - A military delegation headed by the deputy-chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces for Patriotic Education (FAA), gen. Egídio de Sousa Santos, is since Monday in the Republic Popular of China.

According to a press note from the Angolan Embassy in China that reached Angop on Tuesday, the visit aims at strengthening cooperation with various military institutions of the Asian country.
In the Chinese capital, the Angolan military delegation held several meetings with various local military chiefs, with highlight to the meeting with member of the Central Military Commission and the director of the Political Work Department, gen. Zhangyang.
Besides exchanging information on the reality in both armed forces, the Angolan delegation learn about the general situation of China’s army political work in the training sector and selection and appointment of political officers.
Angola and China enjoy a strategic cooperation in several sectors, especially in the construction and rehabilitation of the main roads of the country.
