Angola: Benedito Daniel elected president of PRS party
Luanda - Benedito Daniel was elected on the dawn of this Tuesday in Luanda president of the Social Renewal Party (PRS), during its fourth congress.

Benedito Daniel, who served as secretary general of the party and MP to the national assembly, replaces Eduardo Kuangana, who has withdrawn due to illness.
Two other candidates Sapalo António and João Baptista Ngandagina who have also run for the post of PRS president, congratulated the winner and manifested their intention to continue contributing to the strengthening of the party.
The president-elect has promised to serve and honor the militants, the Angolans and the motherland.
The congress continues this Tuesday, with the approval of the strategy for the August general elections and amendments to the party's constitution and programme.
