MPLA too strong to resort to fraud - MP

Luanda - The head of the ruling MPLA party’s parliamentary bench Virgílio de Fontes Pereira Wednesday in Luanda said his party is too strong and experienced to resort to any kind of fraud to win the forthcoming 23 August election.

“Our political programme, our organisation, the undeniable governing experience, amount and quality of our militants, sympathisers and friends speak for themselves,” said the MP.

He appealed to to the political players, especially those with political parties and coalition with Parliament seats not to seek groundless excuses to sabotage the forthcoming election.

The MP appealed to the people of Angola to make of the forthcoming election a true party of democracy, full of maturity, tolerance and civism.
