Polling station staff seminar on Monday
Luanda - Polling station staff are since Monday attending a trainers seminar in Luanda under the National Electoral Commission (CNE), in view of the forthcoming 23 August election.

A CNE press released that reached Angop on Sunday says the opening of the seminar that will go until 14 August this year will be presided over by the electoral commission chairman, André da Silva Neto.
The seminar is meant to equip participants with the data and tools required for them to train trainers around the country.
The programme includes such topics as handling of the materials contained in the electoral kits, mastery of voting theoretical and practical skills and tabulation of results.
With the course, the source adds, the participants will be in a position to ensure a detailed preparation on the organisation and functioning of polling stations.
Meanwhile, 12,152 polling stations will be put in place around the country for the forthcoming 23 August election, according to arrangements made by the National Electoral Commission on Sunday in Luanda.
In addition, the source adds, the CNE has approved 25,475 voting tables.
