Speaking to his party’s militants and sympathisers, Quintino Moreira recognised the northern Uige province’s coffee producing potential, saying it helped develop other regions of the country in the past.

He recalled that Uige was in the past the centre of coffee production in Angola.

“We are are going to boost the families, small cooperative and coffee growers through low interest loans, so that the families get money to increase production and industrialise coffee,” he stated.

He mentioned as another goal for his party to end the regional asymmetries.
