The information was released by CASA-CE provincial secretary, Alexandre Dias dos Santos, who said Belo Horizonte and Retranca are the targets for Thursday’s investiture intended to consolidate the vote in the municipality of Cacuaco, north of Luanda.
The coalition is also seizing the occasion to present the organisation’s governing programme and have a direct contact with the voters.
CASA-CE is also presenting the ballot paper to the voters and the profile of the coalition’s presidential candidate contesting the forthcoming 23 August general election.
Speaking to Angop about the election, Alexandre Dias dos Santos said the door-to-door campaign will continue until Friday in Ingombota municipality, followed by other Luanda areas.
With 2.8 million voters registered for the 23 August general election, corresponding to 30,9 percent of the country’s whole registered voting population (9.3 million), Luanda is Angola’s main electoral centre.
