Election2017: Opposition UNITA promises 500,000 jobs in two years
Malanje - At least 500,000 jobs will be created in two years time by an opposition UNITA party’s government, should the political organisation win the forthcoming 23 August election.

Oppositon UNITA party leader and presidential candidate, Isaías Samakuva Bié: Isaias Ngola Samakuva - Líder da Unita
This was said Wednesday in northern Malanje province by UNITA’s leader and presidential candidate, Isaías Samakuva, during a public rally he used to present his governing programme in the event of winning the election of August 2017.
According to him, UNITA’s programme has been designed to reduce inequalities and regional asymmetries and implement reforms in the social, economic and cultural sectors.
He spoke of the need for more jobs, a better minimum national salary and thus improve the people’s purchasing power.
Malanje province has 328,885 registered voters. In the 2012 election, UNITA got 11,585 votes in the region, corresponding to 5,95%, which produced no provincial constituency seat.
