Election2017: Over 100,000 election officials accredited
Mabubas - At least 150,000 party agents, SADC observers, civil society members and journalists have been accredited by the National Electoral Commission, with a view to the forthcoming 23 August general election.

The information was released on Sunday in Mabubas, northern Bengo province, by the National Electoral Commission president, André da Silva Neto.
The CNE president was speaking at the ceremony of inauguration of the new building of the Provincial Electoral Commission, adding that the accreditation was going smoothly.
According to him, all logistics have been put in place for the success of the operation that is accompanied by the distribution of ballot material to the polling stations in all localities.

Luanda - The National Electoral Commission (CNE) held a meeting last Friday, in Luanda, in which the members defined that elderly people, citizens with physical disabilities, pregnant women and the electoral staffs that will be working in the polling stations will have the priority in the voting process, that is they will be the first ones to cast the ballot on 23 August.
