The advice followed the reactions by some leaders of the political parties and coalition to the provisional results on the elections announced by the National Electoral Commission (CNE).

Domingos José said that the elections took place in a climate of peace and national reconciliation.

The church leader stressed that the move should be glorified by the participants in the vote in order to dignify the citizens' civic and democratic behavior during the elections.

He stated that the Angolans demonstrated to the international community their interest in consolidating democracy, with focus on the country's economic and social development.
