Elections/2017: MPLA militants praised for their work
Caxito - The first secretary of MPLA party in northern Bengo province João Bernardo de Miranda Friday praised the work conducted by party’s militants, sympathisers and friends, which gave victory to the political organistion on 23 August elections.

The politician made this statement at socialisation luncheon to mark the victory of MPLA and its presidential candidate João Lourenço.
According to him, the mission was fulfilled with the support of all Angolans. The official who recalled the
enormous challenges that lie ahead, called for greater discipline in the work.
He acknowledged that there is still much to be done in Bengo province and he hopes that the new government will meet the expectations and aspirations of the population.
Joao Miranda also praised the press for the coverage work throughout the election process.

Luanda - The Constitutional Court last Wednesday turned down an appeal filed by the CASA-CE coalition, in which this political organisation that participated in the last August 23 elections requested a re-analysis and repeal of the court's decision number 458/2017 issued on August 30, this year.
