Cuanza Norte: Permanent transmission of Neto's legacy recommended
Ndalatando - The Provincial Government of the northern Cuanza Norte province has defended continued transmission of the legacy of Agostinho Neto, the founder of the Angolan nation, with a view to perpetuate his deeds and teachings.

This is expressed in a statement released Monday ahead of National Hero's Day on September 17.
The event will coincide with various socio-recreational, cultural, tourist and sport activities.
The activities are those related to the life and work of the founder of the Angolan nation which is going under the motto "With the ideals of Neto, diversify the economy of Angola."
Politician, poet and physician, António Agostinho Neto was born on September 17, 1922 in Caxicane, municipality of Icolo e Bengo, Luanda province.
He died on September 10, 1979 in Moscow, Russia, victim of disease.
