Cabinda: Over 380 illegal foreign citizens expelled

Cabinda - At least 387 foreign nationals residing in the city of Cabinda in an irregular migration situation have been expelled in recent days by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), in the context of joint operations with other operating agencies of the Ministry of Interior.

A press release from the Provincial Command of the National Police arrived in Angop on Thursday, indicating that the actions took place during the period from 12 to 19 September.

It states that 345 people are from the Democratic Republic of Congo and 42 from Congo Brazzaville, and the repatriation were carried out from the Yabi, Yema and Chiobo border posts (south and southeast of the province of Cabinda), and Massabi, north with Congo Brazaville.

The note adds that during the reporting period 40 crimes of a different nature were registered, resulting in the detention of 26 individuals suspected of criminal offenses.
