FAA integration deepens military cooperation - president-elect
Luanda - Angolan President-elect João Lourenço said Friday in Luanda that the interaction of Defence Ministry with the military regions and units of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) promoted important partnerships, which allowed a deeper cooperation among the organs.

João Lourenço was speaking in capacity as outgoing Defence minister at farewell ceremony to his collaborators at the Ministry of Defence facilities.
He said that this fact contributed to the strengthening, modernisation and building of the FAA.
According to João Lourenço, the Army and Air Force branches have benefited from investments.
The official assured that he will provide support to the future Defence minister and FAA General Staff in order to ensure the implementation of maritime safety project.
He pledged that he will continue working toward making the FAA Security Fund less dependent on state budget.
João Lourenço prepares to take office after he was elected president on 23 August.
