Namibe: FAN continues to bet on staff technical and scientific training

Moçamedes - The commander of the National Air Force, General Francisco Lopes Gonçalves Afonso, said Friday in this city that this military branch will continue to focus on the technical and scientific training of its personnel with a view to contributing to the improvement of defense territory.

General Francisco Lopes Gonçalves Afonso was speaking at the closing ceremony of training courses for officers and platoon commanders of the air force, training of junior specialists of technical radio troops, as well as training of junior health specialists.

Francisco Lopes Gonçalves Afonso also said that teaching and learning process, which took place in this city at the School of Arms and Services, aims to promote, train and improve the trainees with continuous technical and scientific knowledge.

"This training constitutes an important gain for the Angolan Armed Forces and, as military specialists, must be ready to work anywhere in the national territory," he said.
