Benguela: Governor appoints new provincial officials

Benguela - The governor of the coastal Benguela province Rui Falcão has appointed new members to the positions of municipal administrators, executive services, technical support, instrumental and government advisors to different areas, Angop learnt Saturday.

Rui Falcão appointed to the positions of provincial directors, Evaristo Calopa for Education, António Cabinda for Health, Tuca Manuel for Registries and Organisation, Maleze Quinda for Integrated Economic Development.

The Governor also named Abel Mussalo for Industry Commerce and Mineral Resources, José Gomes da Silva for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Elmano Inácio for Environment, Waste Management and Community Services, André Ricardo for Transport, Traffic and Urban Mobility, Cristóvão Cajibanga for Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports.

João Damião Sapesse for provincial director of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans, Jandira Laura Ribeiro for director of Infrastructure and Technical Services, and Leonor Fundanga as director of Social Action

of Family and Gender Equality.

In the same dispatch, Rui Falcao appointed to the positions of municipal administrators, Carlos Alberto Guardado (Benguela), José Francisco Ferreira (Baía Farta), Júlio da Silva Kwanza (Balombo), António Kapewa Kalianguila (Bocoio),  José Cambiete (Caimbambo), Julião de Almeida (Catumbela), Francisco Rodrigues Prata  (Ganda), Nelson Joaquim da Conceição (Lobito), Maria Idalina Carlos (Chongoroi)  and Adelta Georgina Matias (Cubal).

The governor also appointed João Francisco Júnior director of the Governor's office, Joaquim João Tchimbundi (coordinate of Civil Protection Commission), Victor Moita  (coordinate the Technical Implementation Committee of Planet, Paulo Neves Lima

(director of the Provincial Center of Coordination and Control), Anselmo Moura Gilberto (coordinator of Single Desk of the Entrepreneur) and Rita Senje Mangumbala (coordinator of the Technical Unit of Support to the Investor).

To the Services and Technical Support, the governor appointed Aquiles Manuel de Carvalho as secretary of the provincial government, Zacarias Davoca director of the Inspection Office, Jorge Rafael da Costa director of the Provincial Office of Studies, Planning and Statistics, Rui Dias do Carmo director of Human Resources, Rosa director of the Legal and Exchange Office and Cristina Fonseca director of the Office of Institutional Communication and Press.

In other dispatches were named Herlander Gonçalves Daniel deputy director of Office of provincial governor, Maria José Ganda secretary of governor, and Urbana da Conceição André chief of Department of public and protocol affairs of the government.
