Cuando Cubango: Governor wants participatory governance
Menongue - Employees, civil authorities and population in south-east Cuando Cubango province have been asked to help the local government work toward fulfilling the implementation of a participatory governance for 2017- 2022 term.

The appeal was made Wednesday by the provincial governor, Pedro Mutindi, at his presentation ceremony to the local government officials, including guests.
Mutindi has been re-appointed as governor of Cuando Cubango by the President of Republic, João Lourenço.
Pedro Mutindi expects more openness by members of the government, the successful implementation of MPLA's governance programme after the general elections of 23 August.
The official repeatedly pointed out to the feasible actions aimed at well-being of the population.
"The programme of the ruling MPLA party's, which won the elections with 61.1 percent, is known to all because it was widely publicized, with commitments and challenges that everyone should fulfill," he said.
Among the party's challenges, the governor mentioned the creation of conditions for local elections, a process set to run in a gradual and phased manner.
