Angolan President's determination commended
Luanda - The governance of the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, "started well and with courage", said last Friday in Luanda the Speaker of the National Assembly (Parliament), Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

Speaking to the press, on the fringes of the ceremony of presenting yearend greetings to the Head of State, the Angolan Parliament Speaker said he envisages good results from the governance of President João Lourenço, adding that there is no doubt that Angola will improve.
João Lourenço was inaugurated as President of the Republic of Angola on 26 September, 2017, in sequence of last 23 August general elections.
On the occasion, the Head of State wished a good 2018 for the country, a new year of prosperity and happiness for the Angolan citizens and families.
The ceremony ended up with a music show enlivened by different Angolan singers.
