President of Republic returns to Luanda

Luanda - The Angolan head of State, João Lourenço, arrived Thursday afternoon in Luanda after having made a two-day working visit to the province of Lunda Norte.

Luanda's governor, Adriano Mendes de Carvalho, and ministers and senior government officials were at the military terminal of Luanda airport to greet the Head of State.

In Lunda Norte, João Lourenço fulfilled a vast work agenda, which began Wednesday, with visits to various productive and social enterprises of the province, highlighting the diagnosis
center, the maternal-infant hospital and the Luachimo Hidroelectric dam.

This morning, the President chaired the work of the second session of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers to make direct contact with the problems
experienced by the people of the provinces, as well as meeting with the governors of Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul and Moxico.
