Country's Defense must constitute permanent obligation of National Air Force - general "Hanga"

Lubango - The defense of the country must be a permanent obligation, since the geopolitical, strategic and social context impels that each nation provides sufficient arguments in the sphere of defense and security, seeking to improve itself more and more, said the commander of the National Air Force, General Francisco Afonso "Hanga".

Gen. Hanga  said so  during the opening of FAN's national act of 2018/2019 Combative and Educational-Patriotic Operative Instruction, whose objective is to deepen the permanent training of troops, with a view to continuing to provide them with promptness and pro-efficiency needed.

He said that in order to achieve this, he was aware that they needed to permanently improve the organizational structure of the FAN, reinforcing discipline and pro-activity, and to remain firm and focused on the objectives of raising their capacities, interacting with the countries of the Southern Region, within the framework of the bilateral and regional agreements of the organizations to which Angola is a part.

The event was attended by general, high ranked officers, senior officers, captains, sergeants, soldiers, civilian workers and guests.
