Harare - The Vice-President of the republic, Bornito de Sousa participated on Sunday at the inauguration of Zimbabwe's President-elect Emmerson Mnangagwa, alongside with African Heads of State, their representatives and guests.

The Presidents of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa of DRC, Joseph Kabila of Zambia, Edgar Lungu of Rwanda, Paul Kagame of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, among others, attended the ceremony.

The ceremony culminated with the speech of the new President of Zimbabwe, who thanked the people for the confidence they had placed in themselves and the foreign guests for the consideration and attending the event in Harare.
