Foreign minister travels to Saudi Arabia
Luanda - The Foreign Affairs minister, Manuel Augusto, left this Wednesday morning for Saudi Arabia, for a two-day official visit aimed at the strengthening of bilateral and co-operation relations between the two states.

During the visit, the governmental official will be received in audience with King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Saud, to discuss matters relating to the attraction of investments to Angola, as well as sign the General Agreement on the Economic, Technical and Cultural Co-operation between both countries.
According to a source from the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the Foreign minister’s visit is part of the promotion and divulgence of the Angolan strategy based on economic diplomacy and which is focused on attracting investments to boost Angola’s economic diversification process.
Manuel Augusto, who is heading a delegation from his department, is also to hold meetings with local entrepreneurs.
ANGOP has learnt that the potential areas for co-operation boost between the two states are agribusiness, agriculture, fisheries, crude-oil and gas.
