Migration Service with nearly 20,000 passports to be delivered
Luanda - At least 20,000 passports issued by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) are to be delivered all over the country, said on Monday to Angop, a source from the Home Ministry (Minint).

According to the Minint spokesperson, Valdemar José, who was speaking on the increase of the passport issuance fee in the country, the referred documents costed to the Angolan State 82.5 million kwanzas.
The official underlined that the Angolan State will no longer subvention the passport issuance costs hence the increase of the fee from 3,000 to 30,500 kwanzas, in line with the Presidential Decree number 21/19 of January 14 this year.
He also explained that the price for the production of the document revolves around 80 Euro, which corresponds to 28,204 kwanzas.
The authorities have also set new fees for visa issuance, namely for State Visa (AKZ 45,250), tourist visa (AKZ21,350), tourist visa granted at border (AKZ 36,600), extension of work permit(AKZ 38,125), extension of privileged visa (AKZ 38,125), visa for medical treatment(AKZ15,250), while residence permit will cost AKZ 30,500.
