International Community supports DRCongo's political transition

Addis Ababa - The Angolan Foreign Affairs minister, Manuel Augusto, on Saturday in Addis Ababa, said that is of interest of the international community to support the transition process in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), whose elections held in December elected Félix Tshisekedi.

Félix Tshisekedi, who is taking part in the African Union (AU) 32nd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Southern Africa Development Community, was welcomed by this institution on Saturday.

According to the Angolan diplomat, there was no step backwards from the international community concerning the electoral results in that African country, so everybody is supporting the transition process to enable a lasting ordinary democratic cycle in DRC, which includes the alternation of power.
