Angola and Sao Tome discuss cooperation

Luanda, Feb 25 (ANGOP) - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, met Monday with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Sao Tome and Príncipe, Jorge Bom Jesus, with whom he addressed the strengthening of cooperation among the two countries.

At the end of one-hour long meeting, the two entities did not make statements to the press.

On the other hand, the ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe to Angola,  Carlos Gustavo dos Anjos, said on the sidelines of the meeting that the two countries are seeking to identify new areas of cooperation.

Angola and Sao Tome cooperate in the areas of training, education, defense and security, tourism and transport.

Jorge Bom Jesus is in Luanda since Monday morning, during a working visit, at the invitation of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.
