President addresses employment, training with youth leaders
Luanda - The creation of more jobs and issues related to the academic and technical-vocational training of young people topped the audience granted today (Monday) by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to the representatives of the National Youth Council (CNJ).

Created on 4 October 1991 and of a non-partisan nature, the CNJ is a platform for dialogue and exchange of views between the 38 national youth organizations it brings together and the 18 provincial councils, being a government partner for youth affairs.
In the meeting with President João Lourenço, public health and housing issues were also analyzed, the CNJ leader, António Tingão Mateus, told the press at the end of the hearing.
João Lourenço expressed his willingness to maintain a dialogue with young people, to exchange views on the development of the country and the improvement of the social conditions of youth, informed the youth leader.
The meeting was attended by António Tingão Mateus, the youth representatives of FNLA, Kiaku Kiala, Unita, Agostinho Camuango and JMPLA, Nuno Carnaval.In April 2018, President João Lourenço held a similar meeting with the members of the CNJ.
The intention of the Angolan Government is to continue to implement the National Youth Plan and with young people to discuss their priorities.The meeting was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ana Paula Sacramento Neto.
