Pastor detained for illegal diamonds possession

Cuito - A pastor of the Sinodal Evangelical Church of Angola (IESA) has been detained by the Criminal Investigation Police (SIC), in the central Bié Province, for the possession of 543 diamond stones and USD 400 dollars.

The detention of the 65-year old pastor happened after an anonymous denunciation.

According to the SIC, the cleric is a suspect of getting involved in the crime of money laundering.
