Manuel Augusto said so Thursday in Paris, France, during an interview with Radio France International (RFI), when asked about deadlock on formation of the government five months after the general elections of 30 December 2018.

Manuel Augusto said that this is a concern of a neighboring country, brother and hopping to take advantage of all the potential for economic cooperation, which is only possible with smooth functioning in the DRC.

Meanwhile, Angola hopes that the process resulting from the elections of 2018 culminates with the formation of the government.

A functioning of government will also allow Angola-DRC Bilateral Joint Commission to be held for a long time.

There is an informality resulting from the strong bond between the two peoples, and no government can undo, said Manuel Augusto.

It is up to the government to create institutional conditions that allow the cooperation to be regulated, in terms of  taxes.
Almost five months after taking office as President of DRC on 24 February 2019, Félix Tshisekedi is struggling for formation of a government.
