The Angolan top diplomat said so during an interview with Radio France Internationale (RFI).

"Each should be responsible for what he/she says," replied Manuel Augusto, when asked about the most recent utterance by the MP on Social Media.

The Foreign Minister also stressed that the MP "Tchizé" dos Santos "is giving more importance than what actually has."

Among other statements, Welwitchia, known by “Tchize”, who is also member of the MPLA Central Committee, has recently defended the removal of the President João Lourenço, accusing him of planning a "coup d'état against the institutions "of the country.

Speaking from London, England, where she is based currently, "Tchizé" dos Santos said she has left Angola because she fears for her life.

Earlier this week, the MPLA Parliamentary group leader, Américo Cuononoca, said the statements by MP Welwitchia José dos Santos "Tchizé" should be dealt with in Parliament's forum.

To Américo Cuononoca, the MPs are guided in the light of the Constitution, the Internal Regulation of the National Assembly (AN) and the statute of the members of Parliament.

"The issue must be addressed in Parliament. As MPLA militants, we have a Discipline and Audit Commission to deal with the matter, "he said in reference to the MP's statement.

Tchizé dos Santos , has been abroad for more than 90 days, which exceed the period stipulated in Parliament's regulation.

Based on the MP's statement, the major opposition party in Angola (UNITA) described this attitude as "an evidence of deep division within MPLA (ruling party)."

In turn, the Secretary for Political Electoral Affairs of MPLA, Mário Pinto de Andrade, said his party has mechanisms to discuss internal problems.

The official said the statement made by "Tchizé" dos Santos does not rock the political organisation (MPLA).

According to him, if "Tchizé" dos Santos has something to say, she should return to Angola and discuss these issues at the meeting of the Central Committee (MPLA) or in Parliament.
