The politician was speaking at opening ceremony of the VI Ordinary Meeting of the National Committee of the party’s women wing (OMA)/ 2019 National Committee.

Boavida Neto spoke of the need of the militants and citizens to get engaged in the process.

He stressed the need to adjust to the community life and become good community activists.

The party, he added, is heading to the congress with the eyes focused on the future. However, he said, it (party) relies on the national committee of the female organisation as the victory depends on women.

As for the fight against corruption, nepotism, flattery and impunity, the official said that such actions entail a new understanding and awareness.

He also defended support for MPLA leader, João Lourenço, in order to ensure the success in combat, as the struggle is everyone’s commitment.

The politician said the country is experiencing a phase that requires understanding and much persistence, with unconditional support for government initiatives aimed at the well-being of the population.
