Scientific Portal represents important tool for community - Minister
Luanda - The minister of Science and Technology, Maria Candida Teixeira Pereira Teixeira, Friday in Luanda said that the portal "Ciencia.ao" is an important tool for national scientific community, as it will allow the introduction of its projects in science platform, technology and innovation.

According to the Cabinet minister, who was speaking at the launch of this portal, initially it will publish other works of Angolan researchers and joint projects of national and foreign
citizens, while job applications made by only foreign researchers will be done a later stages.
She added that her institution has the responsibility of managing the National System of Science , Technology and Innovation ( SNCTI ) in the country , and is in this sense that , in
September 2013 , was already presented the idea of the portal ciência.ao under the National Science and Technology Plan (NTCP ).
This plan, she added, brings together all the projects initiated by the respective ministries and other institutions that comprise the SNCTI, as well as the researchers, in general, who want
to publish their projects to be planned and budgeted.
The "ciencia.ao" portal is an electronic publication that ensures that information in the fields of Science, Technology and Innovation, especially addressed to the scientific and academic
community, to contribute to strengthening the scientific Angolan identity.
The portal also undertakes to perform its mission with a sense of responsibility and spirit of tolerance through independent, accurate and objective information.
On the other hand, ciencia.ao portal will foster dialogue with users, promoting their participation through opinion articles, pledging to respect the rights and duties attached to
freedom of expression and the right to inform and be informed .
