Construction ministry announces continuity of actions
Luanda - The Ministry of Construction intends to continue implementing its actions with creation of infrastructure adequate to the socio-economic development of the country under the 2013/17 National Development Programme.

The incumbent minister, Waldemar Pires Alexandre, announced this to the press while assessing the sector's performance in 40 years of independence.
The official said that the work to modernise the country's social infrastructure will continue, resorting also to the private investment.
On the other hand, the minister said that the construction sector foresees a growth rate of around 3.5 percent, taking into account different macroeconomic that served as the basis for drafting the proposal of the State Budget (OGE) 2016.
Waldemar Pires said that despite this period of economic crisis, the sector will continue working smoothly.
As for the construction of secondary and tertiary roads, the official said that the process has not been satisfactory yet.
According to him, the mobility conditions are not secured yet in the country.
To this end, he added, the sector plans to duplicate the roads in long and medium term.
