Zaire: Kinganga Mavacala housing project gets first residents
Soyo - The Kinganga Mavacala urbanization project, built 15 kilometers away from Soyo municipal headquarter of the northern Zaire province by Sonangol and its associated, started on Thursday to receive its first residents with the delivery of 120 houses their beneficiates.

The houses delivery ceremony, mostly to to young people of Soyo municipality, was witnessed by Zaire governor, José Joanes André.
On the occasion, the municipal administrator of Soyo, Lúcia Maria Tomás, highlighted the efforts made by the government in the accomplishment of several housing projects, applauding the method used to allocate the houses to the beneficiates.
“I think the method used for the allocation of the houses was the most suitable in order to avoid unfavorable comments among the youths”, she said.
According to the official, Kinganga Mavacala urbanization is one of the biggest housing investments in the locality during the last few years under the Sonangol –EP corporate responsibility in the municipality.
