The Construction minister, Waldemar Pires Alexandre, gave explanations about the pace of the works and the constraints that exist.

“We have a public works programme that is happening in Boavista zone, connected to the access routes to the Luanda Port, which are taking place in a very slow pace, conditioned by the situation of people’s resettlement. But as soon as the setback is overcome the works will take a normal speed”, assured the minister.

Waldemar Pires informed also that the programme includes two new facelift projects in Sambizanga ward, in the ambit of the Chinese credit line, and they are namely the deep rehabilitation of the 12 de Julho street and the conclusion of the Ngola Kiluanje road.

He announced that the Ngola Kiluanje road will have a viaduct and a railway overpass.
