Government investment aims to improve people?s mobility

Luanda - Angolan minister of Construction and Public Works Manuel Tavares de Almeida said Friday in Luanda that the Executive's investment in construction of road infrastructure aims to improve the living conditions and mobility of the residents of the city.

Manuel Tavares de Almeida was speaking at the inauguration of Camama Flyover in Morro Bento Municipality, Luanda province, by the President of Republic João Lourenço.

The minister said that this infrastructure and the ongoing works on the highways connecting Fidel Castro and Pedro de Castro Van-Dúnem "Loy" Avenues, will ensure safe and orderly circulation in this part of Luanda city.

"With the completion of this work we have fulfilled another stage of programme to improve access to Luanda International Airport and road traffic in capital city." he said.

He said that the sector continue committed to rehabilitating programme of the road infrastructure which, according to him, is crucial to development of the country.

Camama Flyover is part of the six Luanda’s projects started in March this year.
