Huila: Integrated infrastructures plan to cost USD 212 million
Lubango - The construction of integrated infrastructures in Lubango City, southern Huila Province, whose execution contract was awarded last Tuesday, is estimated at 212.6 million US dollars and scheduled to last 36 months.

The contract award ceremony took place in the premises of the provincial government and was witnessed by the minister of Urbanisation and Housing, Branca do Espírito Santo, minister of Finance, Archer Mangueira, and the governor of Huila, Marcelino Tyipinge.
Overall, the construction works will be carried out in an extension of 100 kilometres and they will include roads and social infrastructures.
According to the technician linked to the firm supervising the works, Ismael dos Santos, this is a project that reflects a co-ordination work framed in the master plan for Lubango City drafted in the year 2002 by the government of Huila and the then Ministry of Urbanisation and Construction.
Lubango Municipality has a population estimated at 766.249 people.
