Land Management eyes planning files to implement its policies

The minister of Spatial Planning and Housing, Ana Paula de Carvalho has made the pledge.

The official was speaking Monday at the handover portfolio ceremony from the outgoing Urbanisation and Housing minister, the economist Branca do Espírito Santo.

"We will rely on the files from the Ministries of Urbanisation and Housing, Territory Administration, as well as those from Planning," said minister.

In her speech, Paula de Carvalho said that she will work to dignify the Ministry, having requested the collaboration of the sector's employees.

She thanked the head of State, João Lourenço, for trusting her to lead the sector, once designated as the Ministry of Urbanism and Housing.

On that occasion, the outgoing minister of Urbanisation and Housing, Branca do Espírito Santo, thanked the workers for their collaboration during her one-and-half-year term.

Ana Paula de Carvalho, who was appointed recently by the President of Republic was sworn in minister of Spatial Planning and Housing on 30 September.
