Work quality entails project management

Luanda - The success of a construction project requires management and supervision to ensure balance in quality and cost, said Tuesday the "Boa Vida" Group's CEO, Tomasz Dowboor.

The manager was speaking to the press during a ceremony meant to deliver the first keys of the private housing projects of the group.

Dowboor said the housing projects should also guarantee the quality of the materials, the process of carrying out the work and the implementation of social infrastructures within the housing space.

He added that strict management aims to protect the beneficiary from the inefficiency or insufficiency of the undertaking, which can lead to total failure or impair its quality.

"The success of any project is in the quality of management, which has to do with monitoring, supervision and specialised supervision," he noted.

On the other hand, he said that businessmen in the construction field should take advantage of the moment of financial crisis the country faces to train local staff to be used as work force in the projects.
