Minister recommends characterisation of emergency works
Dundo - Angola?s minister of Construction and Public Works Manuel Tavares de Almeida has defended the need to characterise the country?s emergency works, according to the Law of Public Procurement.

Widening of ravines in one of localities of Lunda Norte province

Manuel Tavares de Almeida was presiding over the first Consultative Council of the sector, held Monday in Dundo, eastern Lunda Norte province.
He described the ravines as emergency works resulting from human activity in land occupation.
The minister asked the participants for contributions to correct such a situation.
Taking advantage of the event, the provincial governor of Lunda Norte, Ernesto Muangala, considered the ravine a phenomenon that threatens the destruction of road infrastructure, housing in the new satellite city of Mussungue and neighborhood, in the city of Dundo.
The event is running from 13 - 15 May.
The participants are discussing various topics related to technical and scientific issues.
