Over 100,000 people immunized against various diseases in Bié
Chitembo - At least 100,115 people, among children and adults, were immunized from January to present date against several pathologies in the municipality of Chitembo, 150 kilometers south of the city of Cuito, Bié province.

The information was released Wednesday by the Chitembo municipal administrator, Daniel Mucanda, noting that the actions developed in the health units allowed vaccinating 5,805 pregnant women and women of childbearing age against tetanus, 76,766 against Yellow fever.
According to the source, 1,332 were vaccinated against the BCG vaccine, 8,243 against poliomyelitis, 7,445 against the pentavalent, Pnumo-13, 7,181, rotavirus 5,228, as well as 4,106 against measles, respectively.
