Leprosy situation under control in Cabinda
Cabinda - The leprosy situation in northern Cabinda province is under control, with 40 cases notified until December 2017, said the Head of the provincial leprosy program, Manuel Benge Tuesday in Luanda.

Speaking to Angop, Manuel Benge stressed that in the same period of 2000 the province had 200 cases of leprosy, against the current 40 mentioned above.
He pointed out the work of awareness and research of the disease within the communities and timely identification as factors that contribute to the reduction of cases of leprosy in Cabinda.
