Health workers complete training on health information system
Mbanza Kongo - At least thirty two health workers linked to malaria, reproductive health, epidemiological surveillance and statistics in health units in Zaire province concluded a training session on health information systems on Friday in Mbanza Kongo.

Coming from the six municipalities that make up the province of Zaire, health professionals were received for ten days knowledge related to the collection, processing and data processing through a platform created in software.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the director of the Zaire provincial health department, João Miguel Paulo, with this training, the technicians who work in the preparation of reports and statistical data in various health units in the region are better qualified.
"I believe that with this seminar you are better able to exercise your profession efficiently and effectively, thus avoiding the duplication of data entry formats," he said.
The training was facilitated by technicians linked to the Ministry of Health's statistics and planning (GEP) and information technology (IT) offices.
The event was attended by health technicians from the municipalities of Mbanza Kongo, Soyo, Cuimba, Tomboco, Nzeto and Nóqui.
