According to an official source, the creation of this unit, located in the premises of the General Hospital of Luanda, is part of the strategy of the Luanda Provincial Government Plan GPL-2022, which, among other actions, aims to reduce road casualty deaths.
Thus, the National Institute of Medical Emergencies of Angola (INEMA) will deal with aspects related to the national policy of this body and actions of national scope, in complementarity with the provincial service of Luanda.
Meanwhile, some means and human resources of the central Inema will be dismembered to integrate the provincial department, which will monthly report the activities and the effectiveness of the employees, since the salaries will be supported by the Central Inema.
Inema-Luanda will rely on an autonomous frequency to allow the coverage of the signal throughout the territory of the Luanda province.
