More than three billion Kwanzas for HIV/AIDS drugs
Luanda - More Than 3 billion kwanzas (over 9 million US Dollars) is the amount available for the acquisition of anti-retroviral drugs, reagents, rapid tests and condoms, in the framework of the fight against HIV / AIDS carried out by the National Institute for the Fight against Aids (INLS).

The data were presented by INLS during a visit by Members of the 6th Commission of the National Assembly.
Speaking on behalf of INLS, Dr. José Carlos Van-Dúnem, part of the institution's statute is to ensure the implementation of national policies, programs and plans aimed at the fight against sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV / AIDS and viral hepatitis.
In Angola, about 310 thousand people live with HIV, among which 27 thousand children and 190 thousand women.
