COVID-19: Namibe gets new biosecurity items
Moçâmedes - The southwestern Namibe province got on Saturday new biosecurity items to reinforce the prevention and fight against the covid-19 pandemic.

The items were purchaised with funds provided by the central government, amounting to Akz 90 million (Usd 1 is Akz 579,43).
According to the spokesperson for Namibe multisectoral commission, Miguel Ferreira, the consignment includes analgesics, antibiotics, corticoids, serum, boots, gloves and face masks.
The items include hand disinfectants, hospital bed linen and ambulances, the official also said.
Miguel Ferreira said the province currently has 13 ventilators, a genexpert machine and a biosecurity item pending training of personnel to handle the means.
