Covid-19: No positive case in 24 hours

Luanda - The number of cases of covid-19 in Angola in the last 24 hours remains unchanged with 60 infections, three deaths, 18 recoveries and 39 active patients in stable condition.

The information was released Friday in Luanda by the secretary of state for Public Health, Franco Mufinda.

Delivering the daily covid-19 update briefing, Franco Mufinda, said of the 60 positive cases, eight showed such symptoms as high fever and cough.  

He said 10,000 specimens have been tested so far, resulting in the above 60 infections and 6.663 negative cases.

According to the official, 1.006 people are in institutional quarantine, while 30 have been discharged in the capital Luanda, three in Lunda-Sul province and two in Huila.

Of the infections, 32 are local transmission cases and the others imported, involving Angolans and foreigners, the source also said.
