Caconda benefits from drinking water, electricity supply

Caconda - At least 70,000 people, of 220, 000 residing in Caconda municipality, 237km from Lubango, south Huila province, benefit as from this year from drinking water and electricity supply, under the local administration projects of the sector.

The information was released Sunday by the local administrator, Adão Sebastião Cesar, who underlined that the project benefits the residents of communes of Gungui, Waba, Cusse and
headquarters.

The project includes fourteen abstraction drinking water supply holes and small thermal power plants equipped with 120 KVA generators.

Caconda has a population estimated at more than 220,000 inhabitants.
